Wimbledon Fan Advises Backhand; Player Agrees, Wins Point [VIDEO]

Can crowdsourcing work at a tennis match? If one piece of shouted advice at Wimbledon is any clue, the answer is yes.

The advice may have been a little sarcastic — according to some fans, “go to his backhand” is the equivalent of yelling a request for “Freebird” at a concert. Or, the fan only knows, it could have been genuine.

Either way, when Viktor Troicki receives advice on his serve in this ESPN video, he uses it to win a point against Novak Djokovic.
