Hello there, my name is Chuck! I’m a college student in the University of Chicago. As someone who struggled with coming to terms with college life and the difficulties that inevitably ensure, I decided to express my thoughts on the matter through a blog. This blog will serve as a platform for sharing student experiences and finding the right internship for anyone willing to give one a shot.

I started this blog with the intent to share my experiences and thoughts about college life, share some insightful tips about career development as well as provide valuable information and opinions about internships. Now, as with most things in life, this blog is a work in progress. I will try to cover as many topics as possible if they are even remotely related to the above-mentioned ones.

College life in itself is fraught with difficulties and stress – we will explore ways to handle college more easily as well as some lifestyle topics that concern student’s everyday activities.

Most people choose their college majors based on future career aspirations, so it’s important to discuss those goals and dreams actively. I like to talk about long-term goal setting and how they can help career development, so my blog will also aim to improve your outcomes when this is concerned.

And as with many students out there, I had a very hard time landing my first internship as a fresh college student. We will take a look at what it means to choose a good internship for you and how to make the most out of your experience. Internships often lead to permanent employment opportunities and good recommendations from mentors, so be on the lookout for topics covering those questions.

I will do my best to give each facet of this blog the equal care and attention. While I do have college obligations like everyone else, I will do my best to keep you all up to date with new career and internship trends that rear their heads. Feel free to browse and spread the word if you feel like you’ve found something useful on the blog – it helps a lot! Thank you for your support and have a good one!
